Franquette Crêperie & Soirée is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help shape the next chapter of our growing hospitality brand. This is a full-time leadership role based in Bowral, offering the opportunity to work closely with the owners and General Manager while also contributing to the execution of Franquette Soirée—our offsite catering and events arm.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a people-first, service-driven environment and has the organisational flair to keep operations running smoothly both in-house and offsite.
What you’ll be doing:
Restaurant Operations
Lead daily front-of-house service and ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming, friendly experience.
Conduct pre-service briefings and ensure team alignment on daily priorities.
Oversee coordination between Front and Back of House for seamless service.
Manage rosters, ordering (coffee, beverages, chemicals), and day-to-day admin including cash handling and reporting.
Uphold service and presentation standards in line with our “La bonne franquette” spirit.
Event Execution
Support the on-the-day delivery of offsite events under Franquette Soirée.
Act as point of contact for clients, coordinate event staff, and ensure a smooth, memorable experience.
Maintain brand presentation and hospitality standards at all functions.
Team Leadership & Training
Recruit, train and lead a high-performing FOH team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and mentor the team through ongoing leadership and service training.
Foster a warm, professional workplace culture focused on guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Business & Growth
Implement upsell strategies and contribute to monthly specials and in-venue promotions.
Maintain cost control on beverages, supplies, and labour in collaboration with the General Manager.
Contribute to broader strategic development of both the restaurant and Soirée offering.
Customer Service
Deliver exceptional guest service and manage customer feedback with professionalism and care.
Actively engage with guests and champion a positive dining experience every day.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a hospitality management role (restaurant or events).
A natural leader who values team culture, clear communication, and customer connection.
Strong organisational and administrative skills – attention to detail is a must.
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and passionate about great service.
Confident in managing rosters, supplier relationships, and front-of-house ordering.
Local to the Southern Highlands or prepared to relocate – this is a hands-on role with in-venue and event day presence required.
